Happy Boxing Day
As in, the day where you unpack everything from yesterday and end up with a huge pile of boxes to deal with.
Started to put away Christmas stuff already and generally do a cleanup around the house. My place was the pre-xmas staging area for gift wrapping & storage.
Upgraded another machine to FC3 using the diskless trick (Thanks Sam!) and thought about cleaning up the cabling mess in the basement. Luckily, I didn’t actually do anything about it 
House of Flying Daggers
We headed out to see Blade: Trinity, but decided once we got to the theater to see House of Flying Daggers instead. Probably a smart move on our part
I enjoyed it quite a bit, as it reminded me alot of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which remains one of my favourite movies. HoFD has been out in China for years, but they finally released it in NA with English Subtitles this year.
Snowboarding @ Park City
Decided to be completely stupid, and attempt snowboarding with no lessons. Succeeding in falling many times, and sprained my left wrist.
I’m definately going again sometime, but I’ll be a bit smarter about it next time.

Gizmo Visits Novell
Gizmo and I attended a Novell Executive Briefing, to hear Novells strategy on Linux, Open Source and Security. Excellent talks, and met many of the key folks from Novell on all 3 subjects.
Ski Lifts Closed :(
Sadly, the slopes aren’t open at the Sundance Resort where the conference is being held. They apparently open on the 10th, basically a week too late

Flights weren’t too enjoyable, but we arrived okay. Got my badge, and about to head into the Firewall Session.
